Ecentric means environment-centric. We make everyday hemp clothing in India, for people who want to look good and feel good about what they wear.
How it started
A question during the pandemic
In 2020, Salendra Gupta noticed something. People were switching to organic food and natural skin care, but nobody was asking what their clothes were made of.
Textiles are the second most polluting industry in the world. That felt like a problem worth solving, and Ecentric was born with one goal: make India a sustainable fashion and lifestyle inspiration for the world.
Ecentric was conceptualised to contribute to the environment and ecology. Sustainable fashion is the future, and we want to build an environment-centric community around it.

Why hemp
We started with the forgotten fibre
Hemp was one of the world's most used fibres for thousands of years, and then it was forgotten. It needs far less water than cotton, almost no pesticides, and it leaves the soil healthier than it found it.
